is a knitter and designer from Connecticut whose focus is on garments with unusual shaping and textures.
Jane enjoys pursuing unusual, challenging techniques, and combining them with traditional methods in new ways to create interesting, different pieces.
Having learned to knit as a child, Jane felt a need for patterns that were both unusual and accessible to most knitters with intermediate to advanced skills.
Jane writes stitch-by-stitch, row-by-row instructions that free the knitter from the hours of tedious calculations one would normally expect to spend executing designs of such complexity.
Her directions are detailed enough for the intermediate, yet challenging enough for the very experienced. Because her designs look so different depending upon the knitter’s choice of materials, you are guaranteed a result that is truly unique.
Jane lives in Connecticut with her husband Mark. She has exhibited her designs at Stitches East and West, has a Ravelry group, and has given workshops for several guilds across the country.
